We did orientation last Thursday and a team building activity last Friday, but today is the first day of classes at the One Hope Academy.

Sunday we attended worship at Placerita Baptist Church. Afterwards, we headed to the beach. The kids charged into the ocean!

The California Trip Photo Story: Welcome Picnic
When we arrived in Santa Clarita, we met Julie (a former intern) and her boyfriend John (a former Outreach Week Team member) for a picnic at the park.
John and Julie graciously provided a picnic for us and spend several hours just playing with the kids.
The kids were so happy to see Julie.
